weekend. I once took pictures with the ABC Sports team and the
ball gown I was wearing flew up in my face. The picture only
showed my hands and my lack of undergarments.”

THIS YEAR’S DERBY PLANS:
“I plan the Derby Dinner
put on by Greater Louisville Incorporated  in partnership with the
city. Outside of that I plan to attend the 100 Black Men Event, ride
motorcycles, and attend events at the raceway.” WE FOUND HER
LAST YEAR IN OUR HUNT FOR DERBY DIVAS…Laura Winn
Hazelip, a real estate agent with Skelton Co. Realtors, left a lasting
impression in her beautiful pink. We tried some other looks on her,
but she favored a pale peach dress at Peacock (which we didn’t
photograph), so you might see her this year wearing that. She has
an impressive Derby connection: “My great great grandfather,
Colonel Matt Winn, was responsible for turning the Kentucky
Derby into what it is today.” This year, she plans to have a
fabulous Derby. “A great big group of my friends from college,
cousins, and family all head out both days for the
3rd floor….it’s like a holiday,” Laura says.
