She’s Got Style
Jennifer Montgomery, 35 and president of
M2-Maximum Media, a public relations firm,
doesn’t get caught up in how people view her
sense of style. “I don’t really dress for other people.
When I pick out my clothes, I want what I think looks
good on me. It’s about what I like.”
Where She Shops Banana Republic, JCPenney,
Old Navy and Fashion Shop. “All of my dress pants
come from Banana Republic, but if I want jeans,
I go to Old Navy and JCPenney.” Most of her
blouses come from JCPenney and Fashion Shop.
Favorite Shoe, Peep-toe and Mary Janes with heels
are my all time favorites, but in the summer, I wear
Havaianas flip flops.” She adds, “In the winter,
I wear riding boots, because they have a classic
look. They go with everything…you can put them
with a long or short skirt, skinny or wide-legged
pants.” Favorite Shoe Stores Shoe Carnival and
Payless. “They have a great variety at reasonable
prices.” Since Jennifer likes to reinvent her look,
her closet has become a revolving door of fashion.
“I tend to get tired of things really quickly…shopping at these places is so much better
for someone like me.”
Must-Have Pieces “Boot cut jeans, dress pants from Banana Republic, black sweaters
because they go with everything and you can dress them up or down.” For an added
punch, Jennifer accentuates her outfits with bold jewelry.
“I like big necklaces, bracelets and rings.” How She Defines Style “Style means many
things to me. It means clean lines, your personal signature,
confidence, being comfortable, understated.”
